Artfare.com connects artists and art buyers
Artfare.com is a New York-based startup connecting artists and clients and creating a marketplace for art.
The service features hundreds of artists and thousands of works. Art can be purchased directly from the website or from the application.
Artfare.com wanted to test the commercial attractiveness of the service, competed agencies for the job and chose NØRR3 because of its breadth, visibility and reputation from the good service.
Art marketing on LinkedIn differentiates
Several media channels and tactics were selected for the pilot, but LinkedIn has been raised in this case description as an example. Artfare.com’s service and offering stand out well in the channel and it was interesting to find out the reactions and marketing results of the target group.
The New York metropolitan area was chosen since LinkedIn reaches there wealthier target group interested in art.
From LinkedIn advertising options we ended up using the Carousel option in order to differentiate ourselves from other advertising and to highlight the number of artists and works of art in the service.
The campaign was well received
The results of the first pilot were encouraging and encouraged further investigation of the channel as well as expansion of the channel range.
In about 3 weeks of the campaign, we reached 151,000 people and got ~450 customers to convert through the site.
The results are exceptional for a campaign launched from scratch.
