A campaign in 15 minutes: Marketing Engine at IAB Finland

With NØRR3 Marketing Engine, a brief becomes a campaign ready to go live across seven channels in about 15 minutes. We ran a demo of how the Engine works at the IAB Finland seminar on AI in digital advertising on 4 November 2026. The demo showed what AI and automation mean in day-to-day media work.

The demo was run by Antti Ujainen and Anne-Mari Lahtinen. It built NØRR3's own campaign, which promotes Marketing Engine. The seminar took place at Finnkino Tennispalatsi (IAB Finland events).

How does Marketing Engine work?

The Engine takes a brief to a campaign that is ready to go live, on one platform. Audience, media choices, assets, buying and reporting sit in the same view. The demo followed the same steps as a real campaign:

  1. Brief. Objective, audience, area and budget.
  2. Plan. Channels, timing and budget split.
  3. Assets. Versions for every size and channel from an approved template.
  4. Launch. Campaigns out to buying platforms and media partners.
  5. Reporting. Results collect in the same view, with no separate reporting work.

Seven channels, three messages

The demo's media plan started from the venue. Finnkino's screens are in the same building, and Kamppi and Lasipalatsi are a two-minute walk away. At the same time the campaign reached marketing and media decision makers on their screens and through audio.

There were three key messages: speed, channels and the whole process from brief to report. Each ad worked on its own. Together they moved from claim to proof and finally to how the work is done.

Why these channels?

LinkedIn and Instagram do different jobs. In Helsinki-Uusimaa, 68.4 % of 25–64-year-olds, around 663 000 people, use Instagram at least weekly. 28.8 %, around 280 000, use LinkedIn weekly. That share is almost twice the level of the whole population (index 182).

LinkedIn and Alma find people by role and context. Outdoor, cinema, audio and CTV find them by place and time. In our campaigns, digital out-of-home media has delivered a median of 34 % more impressions than planned.

What does this mean for marketing?

When planning, assets and buying sit in one system, time goes to what decides the result: understanding the audience and where the money should go. We do the same for our clients every day in media planning and programmatic buying.

AI does not replace judgement. People still decide the audience, the message and the budget, and AI does the repetitive campaign-building work faster. When we use AI-generated images, video or audio, we label them under the EU AI Act (AI Act, Article 50).

FAQ

What is NØRR3 Marketing Engine?

NØRR3 Marketing Engine is NØRR3's own platform that brings data, AI and multi-channel campaign work together in one interface. Its five apps cover campaigns and reporting, ad templates, audience insight, a business reporting view and connecting data.

Which channels does Marketing Engine work in?

The Engine plans, buys and reports campaigns in digital channels from one view. From ad templates it produces versions for Meta, display and digital out-of-home, among others. The IAB demo campaign used seven channels: LinkedIn, Alma's business media, Instagram, Finnkino's screens, Bauer Media's outdoor and digital audio, and MTV's CTV.

Can I buy a licence to use Marketing Engine?

Yes. The apps are licensed separately, so you can start with one and add more once you have seen the benefit. The licence is a continuous subscription with a six-month minimum and three months' notice. Onboarding takes 2–8 weeks.
